1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (including localStorage) are used on khvatov.ru, why they are used, and how you can control them.

2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by a website. They help remember settings, maintain security, or understand how the site is used.
Local storage (localStorage) works similarly: data stays in your browser and is not automatically sent to the server on every request (unlike some cookies).
3. Do you need to consent
The Site does not use third-party advertising or profiling cookies. We use:
- strictly necessary mechanisms for operation and security (including via hosting infrastructure);
- functional preferences (theme) — based on your choice in the UI;
- analytics in an aggregated/de-identified form (Vercel Web Analytics).
Where law requires consent for non-essential technologies, you may refuse by limiting analytics in your browser (blockers, “Do Not Track”) or clearing site data.

We do not use login cookies on the Site — there are no visitor accounts.
Vercel Web Analytics
Vercel Web Analytics is enabled. It is designed for privacy-focused page-view analytics without advertising profiles. See Vercel’s documentation and privacy policy for details.
Theme preference
The theme switcher stores light or dark under the theme key in localStorage. Without it, the appearance could reset on each visit.
5. Third-party cookies when you leave the Site
The Site links to GitHub, LinkedIn, email, and project websites. Their cookie policies apply when you follow those links; we do not control them.
6. How to manage cookies and localStorage
You can at any time:
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
- Clear site data for
khvatov.ru— this also removes themelocalStorage. - Use private/incognito mode — data is cleared when you close the window (except any provider session mechanisms).

7. Do Not Track
The Site does not respond separately to browser DNT signals; you can limit tracking via browser settings and extensions.
